IMPORTANT: CYA Travel Goalkeepers

This program is specially designed for Travel players U9-U18 that play Goalkeeper on their teams and would like specialized training.  CYA professional staff will instruct players on the essential elements of the goalkeeper position. Players will be grouped by age in order to create the best developmental training atmosphere for each player.

This program is lead by George Washington University Goalkeeper Coach, Ivan Stevanovic. Coach Ivan is assisted by Nicu Titei, former professional goalkeeper from Moldova. 
 
Players will be trained on topics ranging from improving their quickness and agility to their shot stopping abilities. Proper technique will be stressed to insure the safety of all our goalkeepers.

Goals

• To Improve GK technical Skills (Positioning, Catches, Dives, 1v1, distribution)
• To Make smarter GK players – GK able to read the game and anticipate the plays
• To Improve soccer / position specific fitness (Coordination, balance, agility, reaction and quickness)
